Thanks guys.
Ive come to the conclusion that i need to seperate the 2 drains and not have them meet as one (one overflow is gurgling alot and was told that would fix that issue) so im gonna get that done and go from there..

Finally got plumbing all sorted out.. still quite a bit louder then i would like but itll have to do..
Started work on the canopy..

I've kinda neglected this thread a bit. I've done alot more since last post..
Got an apex and mounted it in cabinet next to tank
Reef octopus 3000int Skimmer installed
Tunze Ato installed
Base rock in

Still have a bit to finish up on the canopy, then ill be able to get it in and get lights installed.
Still waiting on sand, once it arrives ill be ready to fill it up and start cycle :)

Totally forgot about this thread. Let's see if I can keep it updated from now on.

Tanks been up for about a year now, current photo as of a couple months ago..

Fish added so far: 2 clowns, royal gramma, foxface, yellow tang, Kole tang.
Handful of corals in the tank.

Some things that are going on now:
Just replaced my 40 breeder sump with a 55 and ran into what will hopefully be a minor hiccup after redoing the plumbing - the bulkheads started leaking. Two of them have since stopped leaking on their own so I'm hoping the third leak will do the same. Giving it a couple more days to see if that will happen. Until then my new sump is still offline.

Have a group of chromis in quarantine, have already lost one to uronema. The others are medicating now.

Another group of corals in quarantine at the moment including one of my favorites, an elegance.

All the chromis I was quarantining have died. Cleaning and sterilizing the tank and then will try again when my lfs get some more. I think I may be a little better prepared for the next batch

Sump is back online. Still having a little trouble with leaking spots but not too terrible.
Not crazy about the loudness of the new sump, not sure if there's much I can do about it so hopefully i will get used to it.
