I have an idea for your project. Just a silhouette. I was thinking the universal fallen soldier with coral and fish swimming around it. Maybe thin lines in a wave pattern background to mimic the flag and water.

I could probably do an engraving on the CNC. It'll only do the size of a sheet of paper though.

I will have Tim and Daniel work on a drawing and rendering together.

I'm thinking you're going to have to check with Sherry to make sure they go with the "spa" motif! ;Hilarious

Oh how badly I wish they wouldn't censor some words on here right now.

I asked this on another thread but figured I would post this here as well:

I am planning on toping off with kalkwasser.

Will kalk affect the acrylic? I plan on mixing in a separate bucket and then draining it into the reservoir to avoid precipitate in the ATO container.

In the past I used 5 gallon buckets and never had an issue other than power heads don't last as long pumping kalkwasser as they do in RODI water.

@Lowell Lemon @Randy Holmes-Farley ?

Appreciate any input.

I mix Kalk in one 10 gallon acrylic ATO then top off in another. This will change in the future when I just go with one large 25 gallon container for both tanks. But in the mixing container I get a lot of buildup on the acrylic that wipes off easily, the other it's barely noticeable. This may change as I just realized that when BRS changed their KALK it was more concentrated and I was mixing way too much. 2 tablespoons vs 1.25 tablespoons.

Whoa! They concentrated that much? I bet there is less precipitate as well.

I have used Mrs. Wages for decades. I use it in a fully stocked tank at just under a tablespoon per gallon, let it precipitate and decant the clear liquid.

I will start off a little lower because I am not fully stocked yet.

I've been using fully saturated kalk in an acrylic container for a year and it still wipes very clean.

I think you all know how much I appreciate my fiance'. :)

Well, as @JDowns says "She's a keeper"

Over the weekend she said she wants me to get the store going well over the next 3 or 4 years and then quit my job to do the store and build a big shop for woodworking and "creative stuff".

I keep waiting for someone to jump out and tell me I am on candid camera. What did I do to get so lucky?

(Now, those of you who know me, know I will NEVER quit working, but she's amazing for suggesting it)

Glad you are going to make your own and you are welcome! I will do a better job next time I build one.

We have already started the website.

Sorry. No online livestock sales.

We will not be able to compete and honestly don't care to.

We will sell 3D printed goods and CNC cut small acrylic parts as well on the site. And possibly custom sumps.

I have talked to many who have dealt (and most failed) with online coral sales and just don't want to risk it.

I think JDowns already gave you the answer! It will not damage the acrylic.

Amazon finally agreed to let me return the sainsmart version of the Ender 3 so I can get a real one.

Had a BUNCH of issues with it and the manufacturer would never return emails.

Finally, it croaked the other day and I had enough and got Amazon to call me.

Will be ordering the new one Wednesday (when the bank said the money would be there?) it'll be in by Friday.

Very cool and I am happy Amazon got it straightened out. It stinks that it took so long.
