I have an auto top off.com float switch 12v setup The float switch started acting weird so I replaced it. The new float switch would work fine until mounted in the tank and then wouldn’t work right. So I got another float switch. Tested it in the ato bucket and works fine. Put it in the tank and it always just runs regardless of the position of the switch.
Any ideas? It’s boggling me!

Just for future reference, if anyone is searching this...it was because the float switch is magnetic, and it was too close to the powerhead magnet. Moved it away and it works fine.
