Branespikin Reefer 250

Hey man how's it going, did you figure out what was leaking yesterday?
I am clueless man!! After Apex died on me i hooked everything up to an American DJ extension. Plugged it all in got everything up and running. No leaks! I then replayed the scenario shut off all power and nothing no leaks. It was getting late so did not bother anymore. Saturday ill lower the nozzles from the return so the sump fills to the too and see if anything happens. Very weird what happened yesterday. To too things off i was setting my qt tank in the basement just now and i cracked a seam and now water is slowly trickling drop. Y drop. Hopefully by tomorrow after work i get another tank and transfer the water it comming out slowly and i cant do it anything now.

Love that nyos skimmer, can't decide on the 120 or 160!

You got the 250 right? The 120 is enough. Not sure exactly on what you plan on stocking but i think 120 is more than enough to handle that tank plus really isnt that much room in sump anyway

Yeah I have the 250. I've seen a few 250's with the nyos 160's, I plan to stock pretty heavy. And my second thought is its "only" $100 more! Hahaha

Curious to see how you like the nyos 160 in the 250... It's been on the back of my head to get one.

@Branespikin , How many pounds of sand did you use on your setup? im trying to gauge on sand height.

Looks great!

Also while i was waiting for main tank to get ready i got bored and bought another 2 nano tanks!! IM20 and 16! I think ill keep 16 for a qt tank and setup the 20g. Is that scape too much?

Got another RODI unit since the other one is plumbed to my main tank. It was a hassle to make water for WC and now with other tanks ill need it. Looks like a great unit
