I was going to start a new one so I could post pics of stuff other than just sps without people complaining since my thread is titled SPS journey. People have told me I’ve come too far to start over fresh so I will just stick with this one. I will be posting pics of stuff other than just sps in the future so all the strictly sps fans will have to close their eyes, haha.
You do know it is easier to change your thread title with the EDIT button up top than start a new thread.

Hey @bubbaque, question: do you think the RMF Flavor Parade and Pirate's Reef Starburst look like the same coral in your tank? My starburst is still small, but it is looking very similar to the flavor parade ...

No I don’t think they are the same, at least not for me. The starburst is a dark purple while the flavor parade is kinda sorta a pink color. My favor parade is still small but so far the growth structure is different also.

I tried to find a newer pic of the starburst but all I had was close up pics of the tips so here is when it was smaller.

Yeah that's what I remembered from your photos, so I definitely agree there is a huge difference. My starburst is much more pink, maybe I have it in too high PAR. Any idea what PAR you have yours at?

If I can butt in LOL

Here is RMF Flavor Parade when I had it-never saw any pink form and the colony grew out to be 6-8" in diameter, Id suspect signs of pink would have developed-Also would see blue around the coralites under higher par 400+

That has to be the greenest rmf flavor parade I have seen. I just got a piece from a friends shop that has the same colors green with yellow coralite lips, which I am excited to grow out.

from 2014-better as far as not washed out- you can see ( or I can LOL) the slight blue and yellow in the coralites

not so much of a green, shades of or off tone perhaps- For sure a piece I'd like to reaquire

I am starting to believe jared is a scammer. A buddy and I got a frag from @aquavista99 who got his flavor parade directly from Jared as well and it looks like none of the pics here Or Jared’s.

Here is my buddy’s rmf flavor parade which came directly from av99, which his was direct from rmf.

looks like pc Superman to me.

That seems obviously a different species. I feel like mine and @Reefnjunkie could plausibly be the same just colored up differently. I got mine from a vendor at reef currents several years ago so you never know lol

I have had many issues with vendors and one of the big ones is them rushing to get orders out the door and sending wrong or not all of the items. One reason I went to buying wild and Mari stuff because I would spend 2000 on a few frags and get screwed around on what is what or sent like pieces when it was wysiwyg......

Wow. At least yours looks like that. Mine from AV99 looks very different. And stalled. I’ll post a pic later.

My Flavor Parade from Jared(RMF) looked like this about a year after it arrived under my halides. Over years in captivity, it morphed into a more red and blue acropora with hints of green at the base (see second picture) in my system. I noticed a few others from RMF like the Bubble Yum and Tigers Blood morphed into something different in captivity as well (ie, does not look like the vendor's colony pictures). Assumed when photographed, they were wild colonies? Still very happy with my Flavor Parade, but not so much with the Bubble Yum. I have the PC Superman as well. Comparable colors but my Superman is a true table acropora so the growth pattern is different in my tank.

Как вы думаете, какие параметры воды идеально подходят для акропор?
For reference, the translation is pictured below.

EDIT
I didn't realize that I had quoted an old comment. My apologies.
