Cannot decide on lights

As would I. Until now I’ve yet to see a led fixture with a configuration that i liked and always been running a led/t5 combo but I will be beta testing a giesemann V12 in a bit that looks to provide both the punch and shimmer of more focused light as well as gentle diffused light.

To the OP: why not throw on a couple of T5’s or some wide spread led bars like reef brites or orpheks (with the lenses removed).

Yeah, it should arrive in a couple of weeks. I’ll do a write up on my findings and how the tank reacts from a switch of 8x80w T5’s+led to only LEDs.

Tank looks good,like usual we like what we like. I have used MH,T5,Led as main lighting and well I am back at T5's. Thats why I love this hobby,you do what works for you and your setup.

I loved the 250 halides but the heat, ugg.
I'm very happy with the led's.

I would LOVE to run a 150w halide and LED's over my tank,but FL heat and unreliable AC/condenser units would chaos if one of the 2 would go out during the summer.
