Coral ID please

For the life of me I can not remember the name of this coral. I usually log everything by date purchased and name but for some reason did not this one. Must be an old guy thing kicking in.

Looks like a montipora capricornus To me.

I pretty sure it's isn't a monti. When it is happy it has polyps that extend a bit that I haven't seen on monti.

Here is an image with a bit more detail. It is not happy recently and showing some tissue recession so I am going to relocate it to a different tank to see if it rebounds

Whoa yea, my bad that is a big difference from a monti cap. As others stated thorn corals kill other corals easily.
