Same here Im so mad I canst sign in. I have the return line plumbed in untill I move the tank into the final position. Then I ended up cutting the backs off the over flows and glueing them to the tank. I'm waiting on gate valves for the drains to plumb in the bean animals.

That's one from few days ago but it's something. I'll get more when I get gome.

I've been looking it up but can't get a straight answer. Does it matter where you put the gate valve on the main syphon. I saw right after the overflow then right at the sump. Is one better than the other for a long plumbing run since my sumps in the basement?

Where ever is easiest to adjust it doesn’t matter I have two tanks plumbed to my sump and I have one under the overflow and one above the sump and they both do the same thing
The one closer to the overflow does seem to settle in faster tho

I think putting it close to the actual overflow box is good, otherwise you'd be running up and downstairs trying to dial in the proper water level in the overflow box...

And good grief... How does a company that works with acrylic screw up so badly, messed up dimensions, missing pieces, holes misdrilled, did they cut and drill by hand or something??

Tagging along with this build as we are in the process of building a 180 and plumbing it in the basement.

That's what I was starting to wonder. Every time I looked at another piece I was finding something wrong with it. But still made it work thank God.

When I began reading this thread 14 pages ago I was like sweet, it starts in 2017 and 14 pages we will definitely see a finished tank. I felt your frustration and heartache through all those posts. Glad to see you never gave up. Definitely following a long.

Ruffed in from the tank to the floor starting to glue up now. The returns pretty much done just have to glue up a union under the floor once it's in its final spot. Maybe I'll have some time to work from the sump to the floor today we'll see. If I can get done what I need I can possibly see getting some water in it by next weekend.
