EliteReefs-how do you get the yellow around the orange eyes? i guess what i am really asking is what is the best placement? mine looks great but the eyes are totally orange, no yellowish ring around like your picture...

could just be a matter of how small it is, still would love to know tank placement, i assume you had this under the radiums too?

I do not have it but im 99% sure it is a rotundo... It's nice eitherway though!

I do not think that it's a chalice. It could be a enchinata.

I have seen big colonies of the same thing at Reef Hot Spot and they say it's rotundoflora as well eventhough they came in as echinophyllia.
I say Rotundo not echino.

Rotundo. Don't have to have it to tell. Who cares though, it's a kickass coral. It's as cool as any chalice. I've got the My Miami too, and this thing is just a step away from looking like its big brother. I've got a nice rotundoflora colony myself that is very similar to EliteReefs', and I never get tired of looking at that coral.

I just poped my 5th eye last night, its a fast grower. On the note of the yellow ring in the eye i have it my placment is on my sandbed under t5's. I did not have it when i first got it not untill about a week-two maybe it started to come in.

I want to share with you guys that EliteReef is the best! He made it Christmas here for my hubby. It came Wednesday, here is our new edition to the tank. Sorry Im not the best pic taker. Ill have to learn how to use the camera on the tank. We will continue to buy from this gentleman! Looking forward to doing more business with you....thanks again

Thats a sweet looking frag, just wait till the rim grows in. My body has almost turned blue/gray with the birght orange eye's and bright green rim. What colores in every one else getting with what lights?
