ESHOPPS Mariner 70 Build

Couldn't have said it better myself Tom! The UNS are beautiful tanks and stands. I have 0 experience with them but they look well built.

The Mariner tanks and stands are very well built and the stands are easy to assemble. I do love my Mariner, but it is also the first brand new aquarium I've ever had and I've been running tanks for close to 35 years so I know I'm biased.

We went to Mart of Walls this afternoon (after spending $3.6B at the gas station to fuel up) and they had graduation cows!

Hey Matt, I printed a hanger for my IceCap Jump 2K today. I was going to do the bracket as orange and the hanger black but it was taking too much time to make it happen today so I just did plain black this time. I'll probably redesign later and make it orange and black (or just full orange). After all, the impellers are orange so why shouldn't the hanger also be?

How often do you go thru phosguard ? I’m getting tired of using phosphate..e .
I rarely replace it. I use a scoop every month or 2. I'm not super worried about phosphate I just like to keep them below the 0.9 max that my ULR registers. I prefer to be between 0.15 and 0.5.

My tank likes 0.1 to 0.2 . I wouldnt think my tank could take 0.9 . Is that a different reading with the ULR ?

Ultra Low Range reads from 0.00 to 0.90. low range, I believe, only goes to 0.1 so if it's between 0 and 0.1 you really don't have an accurate reading. It could be reading 0 but not actually be bottomed out.

Nevermind, Low Range is +/-0.04 and ULR is +/-0.02 so it's just the accuracy is better on the ULR. Both read from 0.00 and up.

I was going to hit Ocean Floor this weekend but didn't have a chance.

I was down in Tucson Wednesday through Friday for a conference and had considered looking up Shark's Reef and checking them out but unfortunately I didn't have much opportunity to get out and about.

I haven't been to Aquaholics in a month or 2. I should probably stop by.
do it and ship me the leather you're going to kill on accident

Sorry, no updates lately. I've been more or less stuck to the couch since last Saturday. Glass is super in need of a scraping. What I can see of the corals and fish, they all look good though.

Good news is I'm mostly mobile today. Walking isn't easy but it hurts less than standing. Hopefully this week I'll get some tank maintenance done. Lugging a 5 gallon jug or bucket is out of the question right now so I've been topping off the ATO with a 32 oz cup. It's fun.
