Can we extend the option to edit a post for a little longer? Sometimes my old brain doesn't catch mistakes right away...

Yeah, dont think I am going to go out of my way to contact an Admin to edit my post...5 min lockout period is a little much IMO.

I feel like an idiot asking this, but this is the first forum I ran into this issue, HOW do I edit my posts at all? There is no obvious edit button I can see like I do on every other forum. I would be happy with a 5 minute time limit for editing if I just had the ability to fix my posts quickly (like when I screw up adding pictures and want to fix it).

It's at the bottom of your post. You can edit for the first few minutes...i'm not sure how long the window is but you have a little time to edit.

I know i'm getting old but I cannot find the edit icon at the bottom of the post window too. I found my mistake quickly and simply could find the link to change. Hate to ask but a screenshot of it would be nice, even a little one :)

Thanks R2R

You all may laugh but I did not even know that we could edit our posts

It's good to know that they can be edited as I have caught a few of my posts that do not make sense after I read them

I'll get you one :)

I am unsure the time you have but my best guess is now 30 minutes.

If you use tapatalk.

Tap the post you made and hit more
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1340712630.010771.jpg

Then hit modify
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1340712685.409078.jpg

Then edit
ImageUploadedByTapatalk1340712712.725040.jpg

And it will open your post up again to edit.

That is what I would have expected to see. Maybe I am blind but I looked for that seconds after submission and it was not there. That is the standard place I have always seen them. Perhaps I try again and see if I am just running on too little coffee.

Many Thanks for your images and your prompt response.

No problem. There may be other qualifications that have to be met to be able to edit a post. I'm not sure though.

Maybe there is a minimum post number that has to be reached.

I say just keep on posting. Most of the post requirements for this forum are low. If that is reason you should be set free real soon :)
