SCIENTIFIC NAME - Parupeneus barberinoides

COMMON NAME - Dash and Dot Goatfish (Bicolor Goatfishy)

SIZE - 9.8" (25 cm)

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 55 US Gal. ( 208 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Frequent feeding, meaty foods, fresh and frozen seafood's, live Grass Shrimp, frozen prepared foods. Feed min. 4 times a day for juveniles.

REEF COMPATIBILITY - Will eat worms and crustaceans, will stir substrate and decimate infaunal invertebrates.

CAPTIVE CARE - Provide plenty of swimming room, soft substrate for grubbing for food, mature sand bed, house with non aggressive tank mates, most are infected with intestinal worms and need to be treated for such when 1st purchased. Juveniles have a high metabolism and must be given frequent feedings, if weight loss is observed they are being underfeed.
