Frogspawn or hammer?

I picked this up from my LFS recently and it was labeled as frogspawn, but the more comfortable it gets in my tanks and the more it stretches out, the more the ends are making me think it might be a hammer. Am I overthinking this, or could I be right?

Yeah,
It does seem to have some wall hammer-shaped polyps.
