I got the Jabeo DCP 18000 installed yesterday before work. It’s moving some serious water now and the Density of the bubbles has doubled.

From what I’ve been reading most reefers that run a dc pump on the 72” are using a pump like the Jabeo 15000 or equivalent there of. So I may be drawing more air in than needed but don’t think that’s a bad thing.
I really like how you have the ability to change how you want to skim. For instance, when I set it up with the under powered pump I had to begin with, I just ran it conventional. This time I configured it to be down draft counter current. The majority of the incoming water enters near the bottom through the Venturi and two nozzles that create a spinning/spiral effect. The rest of the oxygen saturated water enter near the top, flowing downward.
You can also configure it to be a recirculating skimmer by changing some plumbing and adding a feed pump. This is very easy to do with all the unions I added when setting it up.

Been extremely busy at work but I have a small update on the build.
I received my skimmer waste container a couple weeks ago. I still need to purchase two Neptune level sensors but I have it connected to the Lifereef Skimmer that I still have running the current system.
Having the way oversized skimmer on 150 gallons of water has dropped the glass cleaning from every other day to twice a month.

Come on now, that's not a "way oversized skimmer" that's a skimmerzilla!

Yeah it’s a beast. But I look at it like this, I will never have to upgrade my skimmer again that is unless I get a water volume above 1,500 gallons and then I can just get an extension to make it taller for 2,000 gallons but that will never happen.
