Are you running carbon? If not get it going or replace what you have if already running and increase surface agitation as much as possible.

The carbon will start pulling out irritants and if it's a O2 depletion issue the increased agitation should help.

Increase O2 and try to get to the bottom of what happened. Tech guys always say "first, think user error"

Got carbon. Surface agitation is pretty good

if the fish are having issues breathing due to a sickness or other issue, more oxygen can be the difference in life or death if they cannot be treated quickly. More than a few diseases can kill within a day

if the corals are fine its unlikely. If they were used they could have a fish disease. (brook, velvet, flukes, etc)

Are all the nems accounted for? if one died/stressed it could have released nematocysts into the tank stinging everything. Run an ultra fin filter media and increase the return pump flow to increase the turnover rate and filter out as much as you can..

Id say corals would also be bothered if it was.
