I have an anemone and clownfish tank that I’ve never had a single issue with. I got a green BTA two days ago which seemed to be doing fine until I found it under a rock like this, this morning. I turned the rock over so it wasn’t half in the sand. Is it splitting? Is it dead? Is it saveable? I’ve never had issues with anemones and have never seen one do this. Please help.

It’s not dead. But looks rough. It’s new so could be adjusting. They are really resilient but also have acclimation period.

Green BTAs also are almost always from the wild. And have poor survival rate. So I wouldn’t be surprised if this one is hard to keep

The only green ones I know that are hardy are the nexus joker.
