kittenbritches' Reefing Journey

[fishface NJ]

Morning, y'all. In case you missed the memo, i decided to terminate the NP experiment.

No I didn't know. :( What light are you replacing it with?

Tomorrow I'll get the live rock in here, tweak the scape accordingly, and get the frags (finally) where I want them.

Live rock getting shipped to you! From where?

I'm not replacing it. That tank is officially out of commission.

I'll be transferring the LR from that tank to the RSR.

Also, you guys!! Mater found a host. <3

Again, don't mind the mess! Lol

Careful, clowns easily rip torches apart. Keep an eye on him.

Morning, y'all. In case you missed the memo, i decided to terminate the NP experiment. There were three fish in the 40B at the time of its retirement, including a tomato clown. I didn't think he was going to make it through the night as the snowflake pair and lemon damsels were beating him up and I couldn't catch him again to put him in a little tank for safety. Everything in the tank has all cohabitated peacefully thus far, and I'm glad to report that they've largely stopped harassing Mater. They're still flexing on him a bit, but they aren't ganging up and body slamming him anymore.

I think things are gonna be okay.

Tomorrow I'll get the live rock in here, tweak the scape accordingly, and get the frags (finally) where I want them. :D I can safely say the tank is FULLY stocked. Wallet is CLOSED.

I haven't seen Glitch in a few days, so we'll see if he comes out of his cave when I rearrange.

Please enjoy a dirty-glass FTS of my happy tank.

Wallet is closed (until the next live sale).

There, I fixed that for you.

[sp1187]

It's closed for ME, you guys. :p

Now I've gotta spoil my kids. And pay off credit cards! Haha. :(

I understand. I am done spending cash on myself. Unless the lfs somehow magically gets a colony of awesome zoa's in.

you don't want to miss this one.

1 month from now. I'll watch that one. Nothing sooner.

Once I make my mind up, I'm pretty well set. I might be impulsive, but I'm also stubborn as hell. :D

I'll watch along to enable the great enabler! :D

For real, the only way more livestock (other than maybe a handful of snails) is making it into this tank is if it's gifted.

Ut oh...

Like @Mibu said, this often doesn't end up well for the torch/hammer/frogspawn.

I normally tell people to leave your torches alone, but in this case, If it's just happened, you may consider moving the torch in hopes that the clown leaves it alone

[LRT]

Get a big hairy shroom in there she may forget all about the torch:D

He was actually getting friendly with my lime green warty corallimorph in the 40B. Hopefully once I get things rearranged he'll get cozy with something else.

I can confirm there is a long list of corals clowns irritating as hell. My Duncan is looking like struck by lightning . But still pushes more heads just never inflates as big as before.

And she just stands there like “it wasn’t me”

He's not camping out there all the time, luckily. Unluckily, it's because Regina George is still being a bully so he's spending most of his time hiding in a cave.

I love this name…

Time will show. If getting too much you can say naughty clown - mooove away

Last night I had a light bulb moment — I think my hermit crabs are innocent.

Now I've got to build a trap before I transfer this rock.

Is this, ato bucket? manually removed evil bucket? Or some form of extra terrestrials using your reef to reproduce evidence bucket?
