Is this War Coral? I got it as a free frag from a trade.

At first glance, I say no. It looks like it may be all puffed up, though. If the tissue deflates some, it is possible that it is a WC... I have several and one of them puffs up periodically and looks like that.

IME the Tyree War Coral needs lower nutrient that your system has (mine too, dont feel bad) to show its best. In higher nutrient tanks (evidenced by your green plugs, theres phosphate in them there hills!), they look kind of brown still with nice green eyes.

The Aussie Meteor Showers are much better looking in poor conditions...next to my Tyree, the Aussie is spetacular. Though if you have the right tank, the Tyree is red as blood with nuke green eyes.

Try to get it to close up a bit and take another pic so we can see the eyes. For light, try higher up. Feed it. Get it to encrust on the rock too, it will grow much faster that way.
