Making manganese

I ordered this from Amazon. It feels like it’s a giant rock. Does that matter? It will be a little bit of a pain I guess, but is this normal? Or should I do a return and get a different one?

Hopefully it breaks up. I’ve never gotten that material. Maybe bang the container on a hard floor.

I have that exact brand and chemical.

I think they are clumping because of their hydroscopic nature. It should be normal.

I would use a glass stir rod, but a home item would be a barbecue skewer or wooden chopstick.
