We had this same thing happen in Michigan a couple of years back. Luckily the man was caught and charged with a felony. They will catch him, just a matter of time and then judgement! Disgusting that anyone would do such a thing.

I can almost understand somebody stealing for financial gain. I don't approve, but at least there is a sensible reason....financial gain. But this is wrong on a whole different level. The only thing I can figure is this guy did this disgusting act as some sort of revenge for something. Find him and send him to prison where somebody can abuse him.

Whoever that guy is deserves a back-alley beat down. If he is caught (and I hope he is), I doubt the punishment would ever fit the crime. Just disgusting.

Wow, definitely a disgusting deed. I don't even understand the reasoning that someone would do this... I've always been worried about something like this at all the LFS I go to. It would be so easy to do this, it's scary.

This is exactly why all my LFS's have a camera of some sort on their tanks...Its awful the extents we have to take to protect our tanks anymore...

This guy has to get caught. That is a pretty clear picture that shows the guys height, skin color, build ,etc. He also has to be some what tied to the hobby and local. Either a past customer that kept a grudge or someone that was seeking revenge on one of the employees or owner (probably owner). I can't wait for someone to see this and turn the guy in!

The sad thing is he just opened the store, the beginning of this year according to this article on Underwater World and Bob Kavajecs. He seems like a good guy from the article and what he wanted to do for children.

Pathetic!!!!! That happened to a local here max who left Vegas and bought a store in the Florida area after purchasing it... A month into it someone took the whole store out with something.... Last I heard it was a competitor down the way from him but don't know if justice was ever served since he fell off the face of the earth....:(

I don't even have any words to describe how disgusted I am.
I always fear that will happen at my LFSs. I want them to get locking doors or something to put above the tanks so they have the only access to the tanks.

while i surely am with you guys, but things like this usually have some sort of reason behind it.
i would say that he either worked for another lfs or this store and him had some bad blood.
he could also be an animal rights activist.(many of these ppl have been busted all over the country doing stuff like this)
