Thanks Rob, Yea you can stop by anytime. Not this weekend but the next is Lansing if you still want to go.

The tank does seem kind of bare. but I am sure that is only a matter of time.

Everything is going pretty well with the new setup. THe pump is a little loud. Louder than I like.

the insulation was more for looks than anything else. I thought it might help with some of the trickle sounds too. All in all it doesnt hurt and it was about $3 to add.

I got my Avast Kalk reactor today !!!! kind of excited to get it hooked up.

Great looking build Mojo. I love the clean look of the plumbing to the rock scaping. The potter's angel is one of my alltime fav's. I was thinking of trying a young trio of them down the line when I start stocking my tank.

sweet build Mojo - love how clean your sump area is!

Question for you - I am interested in setting up a manifold like you to use one return pump to drive a BRS dual reactor (with each reactor individually plumbed - not flowing from one to the other as it comes from BRS) an additional Biopellets reactor and provide 300gph of return to my tank which is only a 40 gallon with a 20 gallon sump.

Would you recommend the WaterBlaster HY5000 (about 1300gph)? I am looking for something really quiet. I was also looking at the Eheim 1262 (900 gph) and the Blueline Velocity T4 (1275 gph - but adds heat to the tank and I only have 55 gallons of total system volume). The HY5000 seems a little too powerful but the HY3000 isnt powerful enough (only 750 gph).
