Ok all, ITs been quite the year in 2010. started off really rough and I wasnt sure what was going to happen. We have went through some rough times and it has all paid off. I cant help but think that someone is looking over us and blessed up with some good fortune.

so with that being said, I am building a 125 to replace my 65. I told the wife no more tanks for at least a year after this.... I did not say skimmers though... :)

Ok I ll get some pictures up soon. Just been busy trying to get things together.

So far I have the following
125 with dual corner over flows
Stand and canopy
water blaster 5000 return pump
atb elegance 200 skimmer
DIY acrylic sump
4x80 LET t5 retro from reef geek
2 reef brite all blue strips
2 tlf reactors
rke controller
BM doser

I forgot to mention... The return pump will also supply the flow needed for the 2 tlf reactors. So I will be plumbing in 3 outlets 2 for the media reactors and a 3rd in case I ever want to add a CA reactor. I still have to make the dual 4 in sock holder for the sump I made and get that finished up. I think it will be pretty nice. a couple more weeks and I ll have it up and going. Then I ll be able to sell off my 65g setup. Lots more to come here.

Jealous! I would love to have a deep 125 or 200 reef. (Deep meaning width wise) I will be following.

lol, yea I just painted the back of the tank last night. I also painted the inside of the canopy with the white epoxy appliance paint. Smells like mad but when dry it makes a really nice white reflective, moisture proof background for the canopy.

i opened the pump last night and wow the thing is bigger than I thought. I also ordered some gate valves too. So I can make sure I have even flow through the return lines. plus 3 smaller gate valve for the plumbing to the reactors.

Ok worked for a while on the plumbing last night. Alot more work than a single overflow tank. I need to pick up a support hanger but other than that the plumbing is done. I hope . Not to put the tank in place and fill with water. While doing that I ll do the retro.

Pics will be coming shortly

How are you attaching the hard PVC to the bulkhead on the tank? I need to redo my plumbing soon and your setup is giving me ideas.
