Hey Guys,

I'm currently in the process of setting up a 120G Truvu Acrlyic tank I bought off Offerup last year for a reef tank.

One question I'm stuck on is plumbing... The guy who had the tank cut out the AIO built in sump so now I'm stuck with 2 bulk heads that are off set.

I currently have this overflow laying around. (A hangover the back overflow.. I've measured the gap it has when sitting on the tank and its about 3/4 so the bulkheads would sit behind it perfectly.

However I wanted to use one of these type of Overflow boxes https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/eclipse-m-overflow-box-800-gph-eshopps.html because it look's a bit nicer.

This is how my 2 bulkhead's that are offset positioning look right now
(pictures a bit crooked but they are the same size just off set a bit)

So my question is.. are there anyways to make a overflow box work with these? Or am I stuck using the Hang over the back type I have laying around

Thanks!

You will need something like this for the easiest method of utilizing those holes. These boxes will need to be drilled to match the holes in the tank. They are louder though because the are more or less directly plumbed. Not horrible, but no zen garden either.

Here is mine that I installed custom, as I drilled the tank myself.

After watching some YouTube videos I think im going to just stay with the hang over.

Thanks man!
