Hey Guys. I am the new kid on the block here on R2R. I currently have the biota aquarium (18g) and have been running it for a year. I am now in the market for a new and larger setup. I have narrowed it down to the redsea Max E 260, RedSea Reefer 25o or the Reefer 350. Any suggestions?
I am slightly intimidated with going larger but I feel that I am ready for this adventure.
Any insight and suggestions would be welcomed!
Thanks everyone.

Jae

Welcome to R2R! Any of those tanks will be a big upgrade from your current setup. I'm a big proponent of the Innovative Marine line of aquariums because they are a bit more affordable and have been around for a while now with little to no issues, but the Red Sea aquariums are definitely well thought out and come with some pretty neat features. You can also check out the newer line of tanks from CAD Lights Aquariums :)

Welcome it's nice to have you! We need pictures by the way haha. I would save myself the trouble and just go a little bigger as you will want to upgrade as soon as you go bigger anyway. And by the way going bigger is actually easier than staying smaller, water is easier to control in larger volumes

Welcome to R2R, nice upgrade. I like the Red Sea Reefs, they are great tanks. Look into the WaterBox tanks also. :)

Thank you for the insight. I looked at an IM tank over the weekend. Absolutely beautiful!! I love the rimless look of the newer aquariums.
Any suggestions for a return pump and protein skimmer?

Thanks.

Thanks for the advice. I really am leaning towards the 350. I will take pictures and videos of the build. I hope to make the final decision today and place my order.
Thanks again.

Thanks! It really feels like a huge family here.
I have looked at the waterbox aquariums and now I am back to square one.. lol.
I am trying to speak with retailers that sell it and get feedback from them. I will definitely post pics as soon as I get something setup.

Cheers!

I finally pulled the trigger. Here is what I purchased.
Red Sea Reefer Deluxe 250
NYOS Quantum 120 Protein Skimmer
VarioS-4 Pump (Reef Octopus)

Any pros or cons to this selection?
