It’s hard to make out what’s on the tail vs glass/water/sand. Can you get any clearer pictures?
With how irregular the spots are I’m not convinced it’s ich. If the spots were going to look like that, the whole fish would be covered by this point.
I’m more inclined to say damage from injuries or lymphocytosis at this point.

Agreed. The spots would be all over if it was ich.

The picture could be a little more detailed - but when I blow it up - either it's something on your glass - (possible) - or there are spots on the body. Can you give some more history about the fish and your tank

My glass is pretty clean. No water spots at all or anything

I can make more out on the body - it does look more like ich in those pictures.
Best bet is to treat all fish in qt with copper (copper power or coppersafe at 2.25 ppm for 30 days) and leave the display tank fishless for 60 days.
I agree. It’s much more visible now. The sooner you can treat your fish the better! Shark bait has given you great advice! Just to be sure though…

@vetteguy53081 this is ich right?

I don't think that is ich - the spots are too large and diffuse to be ich but mat may be cryptocaryon which would be treated the same as ich treating in a separate tank with coppersafe at 2.25ppm with air stone added. Do this for 30 days and do not interrupt this 30 day period monitored by a reliable Copper Test kit such as Hanna Brand- and also monitor Ammonia levels while in quarantine with a reliable test kit and add aeration during treatment using an air stone.
The display tank will have to be kept fishless (FALLOW) for 6-8 weeks to assure the existing parasites go through their life cycle without a host fish and die off and with occupants exposed, they too should go into quarantine

This also is great advice, and @vetteguy53081 is one of three people I really trust when it comes to treating diseases and algae issues. He’s done this a long time!
