Can anyone tell me what conditions the red devil grows best in? I have had one for several years and the only thing it has done is encrust. What lighting and flow does it do best in?
thanks
Jeff

High light and flow, but will tolerate lower. Its a really fast grower for me honestly. I've noticed a lot lately that the initial quality of a frag makes a huge difference in how it does long term.

Red Sea Colors.... changed my tank in the space of two weeks. Everything had lots of color but weren’t growing. When I started dosing, things took off. Buy the Red Sea test kits for it. You won’t be disappointed!

High light, NSWish water parameters and some time. Mine was not a fast grower at first, but has since taken off.

Here is mine for reference .

I got a nice piece from therman. I’ve hit it with so much blue LED that it’s now kinda greenish, so that’s my fault. It tells me I’m not giving it enough full spectrum lighting, so I hope I can turn mine around to get that whitish skin again...

Agree on all counts. Mine came from BigE, it grows like weeds
