How Scurvy got his groove back?!? Sounds like the makings of a bad Lifetime movie to me!

Not diving back in too deep yet. Got a lot happening personally playing into tank choices. We’re most likely moving come Fall so rather than build only to break we’ll be mostly FOWLR for a while aside from the few corals that survived the destruction.
Will Need to feed the addiction some with a fish here and there at least.

On the bright side we’re finally down to two tanks running. The 110 and Biocube. That only took 6 months longer than id hoped but its progress.

Did your torches survive, I hope? You had 2 nice specimens ;)
Yep the torches and Hammers made it. Hammers, zoas and Palys went into the BC. Torches, Leather, Duncan and a couple random encrusters remain in the 110 for now. May move more over but for now thats where it stands.

So we received a box late yesterday. Apparently LA tweaked their shipping protocol from CA a little so instead of a 10:30am guarantee its now an 8pm next day commitment. Shouldn't be a problem in most cases but it makes me wonder how much longer we’ll have them as a seller.

Anyway to the good stuff. I have three new wrasse in observation. Two of the three doing great. The 3rd seems ok and is eating well but very timid or scared.

Heres a shot of the tank. Taped up some magazine pictures of reef scenes to see if it would cut down on reflections and bring out the nervous fish.

And we may as well add a couple shots from the forgotten Biocube. Its looking pretty good lately. Haven’t seen the Yasha gobie(s) in at least 3 weeks but thats no shock. I just pretend they don’t exist and get happy when they do make an appearance.

Scurvy it’s nice to see you more motivated. The new fish are great looking. The Rhomboid colors are looking amazing!

If I get my mix of fairy Wrasse as juveniles will only the more dominant ones transition?
Will I end up with mostly females?
Not sure how it works

Most/if not all will transition to male in time. The most dominant having the best shot at becoming a super male. FWIW I try to get them all as sub adults or female and watch them mature and turn. Cheaper that way for sure but also fun to watch.

Of course there are always exceptions when you find a good deal on a male.

That was good news! I also like to be able to see the transformation of the fish. It’s apart of the attraction of wrasse.
I wanted to grab a male pintail that had beautiful color at the LFS but the other tank mates are not as happy with big wrasse. I ended up with female Rhomboid so it didn’t hurt as much not getting the pintail.
