Hello,
I have a 90Gallon with overflow into an Eshopps RS-100 sump. The sump is 6 years old and looks like it is leaking where the hose meets the sump. I currently have metal hose clamps just to keep it from leaking on an emergency basis. I know metal is not ideal and I've ordered some plastic hose clamps to shore it up better. I'm not sure if the hose is bad or where I'm going wrong. I am looking for any advice on how to properly fix this.

Water is definitely getting out at the top where the overflow feeds into the hose and where the hose meets the sump (both hilghted in red). I'm not sure if the hose is bad. I understand many use PVC here and if that's my only out I can look into it but this is what was provided when I bought the sump.

it looks like you modified the sump a bit to adapt that tubes. might be time to replace the hose itself or switch to hard pvc pipes

It's the hose that came with the Eshopps sump. The only modification I did was ditch the plastic hose clamps they provided as those clamps were not holding any longer.

You could try teflon tape around the pipes and tighten the clamp....however....$15.00 is a no brainer/less hassle fix
