sumping aggressive wrasse for how long?

That certainly is a big enough tank, although some people would say a Tang shouldn't be in anything less than a 180.

I feel rearranging the rock work may be effective.
My tang is a model citizen. Innocent angel LOL 😆 thank you for the advice. I may give that a try. My coral are all attached to the rocks but I could do some fragging

Hierarchy is being reset now.
What’s bullying?
Is it sustained or intermittent?
Is the leopard getting physical damage or just being charged or flashed?

How long has this been going on?

It’s always best long term if the reset is done with all fish.

After reading all these comments I prob won't sump him now. But what he does is, he runs them horribly. No bite marks or fins torn yet. Sometimes he runs them until they sandbed. I've put a camera on him today while I'm at work because I wanted to see exactly how bad it is, it seems to be intermittent today. Mainly motivated by his favorite rocks.

Great news, I try as much as possible to let it gel on its own.
In my past, it’s been up to a week
For for peace to set in, provided the aggressive nature is not rising.

This has been going on for two weeks now. I'm really hoping it slacks off. I really love my fish and wouldn't want to re-home him

hi everyone! 😙 im thinking im going to pull my yellow Coris wrasse out of my display (if I can catch him with food) and put him temporarily in the sump, I want to reset the hierarchy. he's bullying the **** out of my leopard wrasse and my possum wrasse just randomly. (he's shot up in size and I fear he's trying to be top wrasse now) (this has been going on for two weeks) my refugium is plenty large enough to hold him a few days. has anyone had success with this? if so, how many days should I leave him in there?
OR would you say it's not worth my time?

thanks friends :)
I have a tomato clown and same size blue damsel, both super aggressive, they claim their territory, so I got a aquarium divider, have your tried that? It's a plastic with suction cups that divides your tank in half. After a few weeks, both calmed down and become shy again with each other. After a few months of peaceful living the Clown begin to show dominance but only a short chase then leaves the blue damsel. You can try the divider, they are not expensive and you find them on Amazon.

The real activity goes on when the lights go off.

Try putting a mirror by his territory and see if that redirects his attention

My key when introducing any new wrasses is always adding a mirror, it distracts the aggressor and allows the others to establish their own territory
