Independence Day Usa GIF by Damnjobs

I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July. We had a pool party here with 30 of our friends.
We had it catered.

Did you drop any FISH in that pool, to liven things up?
If it was up to me, that pool would be full of fish. It's 12' deep so I could put in whale sharks. 😎

He still hasn't gone to the other side of the tank, but he will in a few minutes. If he wasn't collected with chemicals, he should live a long and prosperous life. $30.00 which is more than I usually pay for them. I wanted a small copperband but he only had larger ones and I can't really fit more fish in my tank.

If I think of it the next time I go to that store, I want to catch my Watchman and give it to that store because he got to big and I think he ate my yellow clown gobies and I like them better than him.

wow. i didnt know that you could even still buy fish for that little! lol. hes beautiful!
I almost never pay that much for a fish. Long Noses and Copperbands are usually about 25.00. Must be inflation.

Smaller fish like clown gobies, firefish, and things like that are about eight or ten bucks. 😎

I know some people pay $125.00 for common Copperbands but I think my guy direct ships them from the collector and picks them up himself from JFK airport so there is no middle man. He said he has a huge shipment coming this Sunday so I hope I don't go there because my tank is too crowded now and I shouldn't have gotten this little Long Nose. But I couldn't resist. 😆

Smitten. If this LFS were not here, I also would have to pay that much, so I wouldn't have that many Copperbands.

My new Long Nose is swimming all over the tank like he owns the place and picking into the holes.
As long as you don't stress or medicate those types of fish, they are very easy. But if you quarantine them, it's pot luck as those types of fish have no sense of humor for that type of treatment.

I got my CCb for free because it was ordered for another customer and it came in too big and they didn’t want it. I watched it get sick of being in a lfs tank and took it home to give it a chance at life. It had terrible looking skin with white streaks and spots so I added to the reef tank with aiptasia and it got better quickly.

To tell the truth I may have paid for it anyway, I don’t remember if I did pay the freight (as is my habit) but it’s lived a few years with me and my wife likes it now so we’re stuck with it.

They are generally priced $50. Or more in most stores I haunt and browse through.
