I would certainly say you have the inside track, if you have found $30.00 Longnose Butterflies. I recently drove 2 hours round trip to get one for $79.00 because I thought it was a good price (from a reputable LFS). I saw one for $89.00, but shipping would have added at least $40.00.

i bought him quarantined. so i dont know. will see i guess. they definitely have not been an easy fish for me. your lfs sounds amazing
One of the mysteries of fish and coral is how some people struggle with one species and others can’t figure out how to kill them without meaning to?

That guy is all over the tank and a big eater of clams and frozen mysis 😎

Normally I walk on the beach in the summer but this morning I took the country road walk. It was foggy and not very interesting except for a few deer I saw.

It rained last night so I figured I would go worm hunting on my morning walk.

I walked and walked and found 3 worms. Just 3. Not a very accomplished hunt.

I walked 5,000 steps, sucked up $14.00 worth of oxygen and burned up 400 calories and have almost nothing to show for it.

I did find a place with a bunch of dead, wet leaves which I kicked over.

When I did that a multitude of Night Crawlers ran away. No, they literally RAN.
They were much to big for me to feed to my fish as I thought they would eat the fish so I didn't collect them.

We are having company this week. Friends that we have had over 50 years and their Daughter and mine grew up together from Kindergarten through college. Anyway. They were born in Italy and are fantastic cooks. He even owned a restaurant for a number of years so I can't just throw something together for dinner.

I am making a nice meal along with home made rosemary/olive oil bread. Unfortunately my oven broke this week and I ordered the part to repair it.

It's the Gas safety valve that keeps the gas on after the oven lights. It is easy to replace (if you know what you are doing) but my left hand is swollen and I have an appointment with a doctor who will give me a cortisone shot to fix it.

My problem is that I can't get that shot for a few days and I need to bake bread tomorrow and I can't really use my left hand so installing this valve will be tricky as I need to use two hands to grip the wrenches to remove the gas line and part.

Hopefully, one of my friends will be around to help with the wrenches until I get my hand repaired. It's fun getting old. 😬

I am a Licensed boat Captain but I had to look very hard to see if any of these boaters did anything wrong. Look closely and see if you can find any mistakes.

Perhaps they were just jettisoned the flotsam and jetsam in the front if the boat...very efficient Capitan! 😂 I have been stuck on the Haulover inlet videos for a couple weeks. I have a small 20' open bow boat and I would never attempt some of these runs.

Hey Paul, I'm going in for my 1st knee replacement Monday🤕. Any words of wisdom you can throw my way?

The thing that's bothering me the most is being laid up for awhile and not being able to take care of things for myself. My wife if wonderful, but I just hate the thought of being dependent on her. Being dependent on anyone, really.😳

Hope you found someone to give you a hand with your oven.

Scott, If I knew, I would have given you my old knee. You won't really be laid up as they get you up and running as soon as you wake up. They may even ask you to help them mop up the blood on the floor. 😳

It's a little painful for a while but it gets better every day and before you know, it you will stop screaming. 😎

It's actually not that bad. I think my replacement shoulder was worse. It's a little annoying sleeping because when you turn over, your leg wants to stay there so you have to turn it with your hand. The huge bandage comes off in a day and now, they glue you back together so you don't get that big of a sexy scar.

My wife was little help because she can't really get around herself so I had one of our friends come over for a couple of days just to help. She was great and helped a lot.

Sue came over to help us after my shoulder surgery. She is one of my best friends wife who I have known longer than my wife. Her husband died of Covid when it first came out.
