Tank Upgrade Light Help

Moving from this Waterbox 50.3 36” long to a NYOS Opus 440 G2 48”. Trying to figure out if I need to add additional lights. My AP9X is very powerful with good spread for my mixed reef. Running max 45% with 250-300 par at the top of my rock. Would my current setup be fine? Would I need another AP9X or is that too much? Should I do my 1 AP9X and add supplemental lights bars? Any advice is appreciated.

Depends on what your trying to grow. FOWLR??? shop lights (fluorescent) are enough... sps 2 ap9x, mixed reef? 1 ap9x.

You would be better served, and more happy, with two AP9X's over a 48" long tank, regardless of corals selection. Supplemental LED bars would be a great addition if going mostly SPS.
