Hello sir,

Amazing built thread. I will be placing my order for my 330.7 tomorrow. After seeing your pics I realized the only thing which can be easily moved with this beast is the ATO container. I was delusional in thinking maybe I can move the stand myself or with the help of my dad. I contacted my LFS for them to move everything from the garage to the living room once I get it delivered.

I read thru all 20 pages and could not find a parts lists for the light mounts. I would like to do something similar but not exact. I have hydra lights but I do want to copy the pivot idea and how you mounted them to the stand.

I was really going to try to move the tank in by myself and then my Gal bought me back to reality. I've moved 180g tanks alone and got them up onto the stand but 603lb empty not to mention the $$ down the drain if I broke it brought me to my senses lol.
@Reefer Reboot did the design on the light rack and put together the parts list. I'll gather it up tonight or tomorrow and list it here and tag you.

I ended up just ordering everything from 8020.net since it was their software used for the design and made it easiest for me. I like one stop shopping.
I think I mentioned it but am not sure. The slots in the T slot WB used for the stand are narrower than the t slot from 8020. I bought extra bolts from Amazon but they were the same. Might be worth reaching out to WB to see if they tell you where to source the correct bolts. I have a hunch the stands were built in China so it may be different stock than what is common in the states. When you get rolling you can pull a bolt out of the stand and you'll see what I mean. I didn't find out until I went to install the light rack. I didn't find the correct bolts but I didn't look too hard because i can be impatient and I wanted to get the mount up so I just ground down the head on some bolts.

Weekly update.
Tank is cruising along pretty smooth. Parameters are staying pretty consistant with weekly 28g water changes and no dosing except for 10ml of Bacto balance. I think when the bottle is empty i may run without it and see how it goes. Im not too worried about my N and P levels since the tank looks decent and still little to no algae in the DT but I also don't want them going much higher than they are. I tested pH for the heck if it since I added a monitor to my acro tank. I get low of 7.6 and a high of 7.8-7.9 but things look good so I roll with it. I can get 8.1-8.2 when the house is open.

I think the scheduled water changes are helping level things out that were out if wack on the ICP I did a while back. Arsenic was high and its and poison so.... I lost the orange monticap I tried before but added another and it's showing signs of new growth so I'm optimistic. If it does well I have a piece of green to bring up and I'll see if I can start filling in the right end of the tank.

I also have a bunch of duncans in the 40g down in the basement and I'm thinking I may bring this one up.

Duncans didn't do well earlier either so maybe they will now. I think ICP testing has its place but I don't have enough experience or confidence in them to make a bunch of changes based on the results so I like to watch coral instead but will test as a last resort. Duncans and my old bubble coral have always been good pieces to let me know something is off.

The other tanks are doing well also (knocks on wood) . I started ammonium dosing in my acro tank since i was having to dose N and P and so far it seems to be helping out. I can't say its a miracle or anything but I have detectable N and P now and it's easier to dose the ammonium vs N and P sperately since I have a spare head on my reefdose.

Nothing much to report but I need another contest entry :face-with-hand-over-mouth:
NO3 is up a bit more. Still nothing terrible but I'm going to experiment with lowering it using TM Elimi NP. Its more out of curiosity than a feeling I need to lower it and i have the stuff here already.


Both CBBs are still doing well.

I now have a niger trigger less fish. He must have broken his off in a rock and only has a nub left.

All other tanks are cruising along so I guess no news is good news.

I don’t have a nitrate issue. I know this is not what TM and Lou promote.

Ya the copperbands are special to me. I'm a mediocre reefer at best but not that many people have a pair if CBBs so that gives me a feeling of accomplishment which is nice.

I too have read of elimi np giving mixed results for some people. I've been dosing BB since last September so I think rather than stopping and switching I'll go ahead and continue the BB and start dosing some MB7 with it and monitor. I was actually dosing MB7 for several months after start up but stopped when the bottle ran out. N and P aren't sky high and the tank looks good with no nuisance algae at all so I probably would be better off just trying to keep them from getting too vs trying to lower them and risk creating a problem. Thanks for your input. I can't remember how many times I've told people their tank looks good don't make changes based on test results. Maybe I should take my own advice :thinking-face:

Spring is finally here yay

I started MB7 instead of elimi NP as mentioned above. Just being cautious and trying not to let N and P get too high. All the tanks are doing so well I'm getting nervous :zany-face:

Promise a better video next time.


I put a couple of pieces in the IM 20 to see how they do.

40g in the basement is rocking along. The dunkins were looking so good I decided to bring my two pectinia down.

The reefer 300 is coming into it own. It looks much better in person. I just can't capture the colors as I see them.

Glass cleaning later this eve. Been out with the crew all day.

Had to wake them up first.

It was nothing but fun after that. We have a creek on the back of our property which they love run though.

Picked up a Blue streak cleaner wrasse today. I know they typically don't do well in captivity but I'm hoping in a tank this size with all the tangs and others to clean it might do well. I Also feed frozen PE mysis and rods twice a day so there's a lot of small particles for it to eat.

I placed it in an acclimation box rather than throwing it to the wolves. It's already found the cave/ pot. When the naso swam under the box the wrasse tried to get to her. I probably won't keep it in the box long. I moved the bubble coral back front and center. Gotta love some bright green GSP.

Mingii loves to go eye to eye.

I found a big asterina in the sump so I gave it to the Harlequin in the acro tank.

No no you were not rude at all. I apologize, It was late for me as well and I shouldn't have mixed bad news in what was supposed to be a positive post. Reactions are a big deal here and your reply got me thinking how is someone even supposed to react to a post that contains good and bad news? I appreciate your reply. The edit was to correct my mistake.

The bad news above was the loss of my blue haddoni in the 40g basement tank. It went wandering behind the rocks and wrapped itself around the heater. The basement is 60 degrees so the heater runs a lot. The positive spin is now I can add fish without fear of them being eaten and it leaves more room for coral. If I decide to keep nems in the future I'll set a tank up dedicated to them.

Haddonis are very beautiful anemones. Getting a nice healthy one seems to be hard to acquire. Everytime I see them in the pet stores. They are very sick.

Even if they are healthy, shipping can cause them to get sick.

That's a terrible loss in my opinion. :(
