such a pretty fish. id love to have one in my next tank. do they graze on the rocks?

Mine doesn't graze on the rocks much. My yellows and convict and two spot bristletooth (in another tank) graze non stop

What's the size of your QT, presuming you have one of course. I'm still trying to figure out what size go with my 203g. If you do run a QT, do you have two? One for fish and one for corals?

I actually stopped running a dedicated / medicated QT 2 or 3 years ago after loosing some fish with no explanation I could find. I do an observation QT on all new fish for at least 30 days but the tank used depends on the fish. I have a brute full of live rock and empty tanks so I can do an intsa cycle.
I've never quarantined coral just dip inspect then into the tank.

Sunday update.
Things are looking up lol NO3 tested 15.9 and PO4 0.61. Not surprising since I'm feeding this tank very heavily which IMO helps keep aggresion at bay. I still get nothing more than an occasional chase once in while. I'm not seeing any signs of algae in the DT but I think I'll up my bacto balance dose a bit. I may go ahead and toss the skimmer back in but haven't decided yet. I do need to do a water change and clean the scrubber which I'll probably do today since it's cold and windy out.
It's interesting the difference between this tank and my reefer 300 where I keep mostly acros. Today it tested NO3 1.6 and PO4 0.01 If I was running a skimmer I'd probably be at zeros . I feed the 300 pretty well also but only have 4 fish. I change 2 gallons of water every couple of weeks and the only thing I dose is AFR. I think the reefmat is doing a better job than the klir in the 330. I suppose all the fish in 330 are putting out a lot more waste as well.

The niger is getting on well. No one bothers the little guy and I've not see him bother anyone.

I am guessing that the larger of the group is the wild as the other three appear to be of similar size. Knowing the video is different than what you see up close and personal they all looked similar to me other than the size. Very pretty fish. The Naso loves attention ;)

Happy to post the video. I should do updates of the tangs every few months just for records. It's hard to see the actual progression of things when you look at them every day.

Focus is on the 170 today. Its been non stop nuisance algae for 2 years now since I had the brilliant idea to change the scape. Last shot before tear down

This is it now. These two rocks were in with the other gha covered rocks but never got infested. I guess good stuff got to them first.

Moved most stuff to the basement 40g

This was it in the early days. It was peak for me I think. Everything thrived.

Not sure what happened to make me want to change up.

She does this to her ears herself and flips them forward when she's done. It's pretty cool because she doesn't use her feet, she just flips them forward with her ear muscles. Guess you have to see it.

Little photo tribute to Lady Clarkii who passed today. The photos are sad but clear and in focus and they show her determination to survive. I knew she wasn't going to make it but as long as she was able to avoid being caught I left her alone with her nem. She was a tough girl and held in longer than I expected. Today was the day to end it for her.

The nem was unhappy when I removed her.

Close to two years so not long for a clownfish.
The entire time I've had her she was never very active. At times she would barely come out to eat much less feed her nem so maybes she was unhealthy the whole time :thinking-face:

Im in the mitten shaped state above you real temp rn-5 feels like -15 so kinda balmy lol.
