Tunze Help Plz

I have the controllable Tunze 6150. Recently i noticed the pump was no longer working.

When i unplug the power and plug it back in i get a 1 second burst of flow then it stops again. I also noticed the LED light on the AC adapter is RED. I cant remember for sure if it was always RED or if it was GREEN and is now saying something blew in the adapter. Any ideas? Thanks

Take it out and clean it real good. If it doesn't work after that. You can contact Roger at Tunze. He will help you out, or will tell you to send the pump it for repair

Any idea if the red light is suppose to be there?

My power supply led lights on my 6105's are red and working.

Kbra, I had the same problem. It does not need cleaning there is air trapped in the line if you turn the pump upside down you will see the air bubbles come out also you can blow air the through the line and that should do the trick. Roger at Tunze help me with this.​

I don't see how this applys to a powerhead. You must be thinking of somethin else.

I did the cleaning and verified voltage output from transformer. Still doesn't work. Contacted tunze to see what they will do.

Sounds like theres a short in the motor. However it does have a 2 year warranty and its going in for a Tunze up.
