Wait, we are all staying at Brew’s after the store opening? Sweet!
That's what I heard.
I'm good with that! Especially if I'm done with the kitchen remodel by then. I'm starting it as soon as my wife moves out. It's going to take awhile since I am doing everything myself but I think I'll at least be close by then.

Besides, I'd love for a few of you guys to see my reef in person.

Android users, and in general anyone that uses a cellphone to take coral pics. How do you filter a picture of a blue coral, without filtering out the coral itself? Like this... I promise it's not brown/orange.

My "Traveling ReefTank Freelance Photographer" friend, @RichtheReefer21, can probably give you some pointers.

Thanks for the tag chris.

@Robin Haselden if you have anything besides a Galaxy I cant help u with adjusting the phone itself. "Aquarium Camera" app has an auto blue filter mode, and then an "Auto" filter/correction button that looks like a wand. U can try that.

If u have a samsung galaxy u can pm me and I'll be glad to show u a few tricks using Pro Mode.

Just a small suggestion @Robin Haselden - be very careful with this as it could be a trap! :p

These blastos are doing much better than expected. I forgot them out of water for 2, possibly 3 hours when I was removing all the branch rock. I remembered them as we were leaving to go eat dinner, and quickly glued them in a spot, any spot. They are under a ledge on the side of the tree. Seem to be perfectly happy tho.

Show me a close tree pic please. I'm liking that. Did you use an acrylic rod?

Oh, oh, me, me, pick me! And with any luck, you'll let me use a 1" grinding disc! :p

Depending on the amount of SF, it may make a lot of sense to rent a grinder for a day. ;)

I was going to let you use an old toothbrush. ;Troll

Actually, I'm going to use a 5" grinding disk with a vacuum attachment. I don't want the house filling with dust.

I bought it made already, lazy I know. Caribsea makes it. Is the same stuff as their life rock that I already have.

Wife refuses to clean out the back of her truck...

It was fun getting that thing in the tank. Pulled all the branch rock out, then scooped up all the sand on that side of the tank with the net, took the light down from the ceiling and set it aside, then we could put this thing in the tank. It's 16" tall and could really stand on either end if you wanted. I liked the bigger end for the base.
