Well I got a new tank for Christmas, a 22 gallon Cadlight. It was a great deal on a used one. So here is the picture from December 30, 2014. It is cycling now. 25# live sand, 20# rock to start and I changed out the pump for a 500 gph one. Made a media rack (currently only have floss in it), rubble in second chamber and will be adding Chaeto if I can find a handful from someone local. 3rd chamber has pump and heater. I will slowly be moving over my rock and coral from the 8 gallon.
I decided to keep the 8 gallon running as my QT tank since it seems Aipstasia seems to be running rampant when I buy frags these days. Very excited about this build. I have a Chinese sh*% box coming Tuesday.

Light came today. A little overkill at 120 watt but it's dimmable. Here it is at 20%

This is a rock I pulled from one of my 8's. Didn't care too much if I lost the zoas while it was cycling. They are looking great though.

I was thinking about my John Deere Lepto on it? I just keep adding frag tiles under it. It is now 4 high. Not sure where to put it and just let it spread. Opinions?

Haha nice! Glue it center-ish to the back wall and let it run wild covering the entire thing, what a backdrop that would be! If I had a ledge like that I would put a nice acro or rainbow stylophora.

Tank is doing great. Pods on glass, Stromalia snails spawning this morning.
