I checked custom but mine is a custom made by Trigger. If you send them a sketch of the dimensions you want they will custom make it to your specifications. Mine is 42x18x18 with large skimmer and refugium chambers.

I really like the opaque acrylic Elite Aquatics uses. Might give them at try for my next build if they aren't too expensive.

Can we change it to allow multiple votes?

60g at home - Eshopps RS75
265g at home - Icecap 36
80g at school - Icecap 24
Broodstock System at school - Living Color

Kept it simple - lifereef. Well built, great support, simple, functional, everything I needed including 1.5" drains, and accommodates my Bean Animal overflow. So voted other.

I will say this - right approach is to read and see how people incorporate sumps like what you are doing. See what works for you and doesn't. Hopefully you have a goal in mind with your tank. If it includes any possibility of a upgrade or in some cases downgrade will the sump still work. Now make a list of pro and cons and filter your vendor list or options down. I hate buying things twice so tend to over think. If I purchased wisely I can either add on by the vendor or add my own solution to the sump ecosystem.

Also note sometimes you can incorporate the sump to your display. There are a lot of excellent examples with people show casing not only their display but their sump(s). People have some incredible skills and attention to detail and I think it sets them apart.

I go DIY. I’ll never understand the appeal of crazy expensive sumps. On my tank I have a 40 breeder with some glass baffles I installed. Works perfectly and looks just as good as these $1000+ sumps when the cabinet is closed.

Mine is an Elite Aquatics. One of the few manufacturers that builds standard off the shelf models, but will still do custom work and make your sump any way you want it. This is mine before it shipped. You can find the off the shelf sumps at Premium Aquatics (maybe other vendors now too), but he builds custom tanks from his Facebook page (since he now supplies vendors, he doesn't sell through his web site any longer). Are they still in business?

I owned one of there sumps a couple of years ago.
Premium Aquatics has not sold their sumps for a while and they no longer have a web page.
They used to be a sponsor here too..

Two DIY sumps. One 10gal tall and one 20gal long. DIY ATS sits on top of the 20gal long. DIY ATO sits next to the 20gal long. Two marine pure blocks sit with 3 heaters in the 10gal tall.
