I took a few cracks at it. For this first attempt, I included some slots for magnets and made the parts snap-fit together. I figured it would be nice to not have to purchase or install screws. Not sure if it will work but I'll get it a test print tomorrow. Adding the lid next.

So things have been a bit slow. I got sidetracked because my 25g reef developed a leak so I had to do an emergency breakdown (future video coming). The tank is about 12 years old and has been running in my garage for the past year. It gets really cool out there so I think the tank is taking on extra stress as it expands and contracts due to the outside temperature fluctuation. Redoing this tank was going to be my second project after getting the Onefinity CNC working. Here is a picture of the leak. The tank is leaking at one of the vertical silicone seems in the back. The leak is very slow, with just a few drips and an hour.

Starting the test print for the feeding portal. It is only going to take a few hours so hopefully, this thing fits together and I don't have to make too many changes.

I finally got the Onefinity CNC installed. Check out the latest assembly video. The last thing to do is create and surface the wasteboard which I plan on taking care of tomorrow.

Ok,, who wants to try this thing out? I printed only one test and it snapped together extremely tight. Once snapped together you are going to need to break it to get it apart.

I created 2 options - both have the snaps and option

Option #1 has slots for magnets that will help to secure the top and bottom. On this version, the cover also has a magnets slot so you could have the cover magnetically snap in place.

Option #2 uses 4m nylon screws to secure the top and bottom of the screen. One of the screw holes goes all the way through the cover so it would rotate open and closed.

I don't know if these will actually work because I don't have a screen to test them on. I am going to clean up the files and upload them to Thingiverse this evening so hold tight.

Hey Everyone, Here is a link to the Porthole model. I have not tested it but it looks like it should work. Please let me know if you have any suggestions on improvements.

I'm using Fusion 360 for most of the projects.
I've been using a Crealitly CR10s as my main printer for the past several years. It has had some minor issues but overall it's a good printer. I'm guessing that Creality made some major improvements with their latest Ender Series but I don't have one myself. An Ender would be a great printer for a beginner to 3d printing.

Hi Everyone,

I just published my latest Youtube video. This is the last video on the Onefinity CNC setup. I am happy to have this done and I have several reef aquarium-related videos lined up in my backlog. Please check it out and let me know what you think. Be sure to leave comments.

Took a long time but I finally got my Nero 3 nem guard printed and installed today! It looks great, and the color out of pure luck looks very similar to my feed cup.

Need a 1" version of a flare nozzle for locline type modular hose. vividcreativeaquariums sells a 1" threaded adapter, hose, and wye, but no flare nozzle.

I'm looking for a front cover for Nept;une Wav pump. Snails seem to keep climbing into the pump and breaking the impeller and those are $50 a shot. I already have nem guards on the backs.

Yeah, that looks awesome. I still haven't gotten mine installed yet. The color is really cool.

How did it fit for you?

The fit was actually great, very snug. I was prepared to trim it but just had to make sure it was all lined up right and went right on.

Many thanks!

I might be able to do this. I've made several locline attachments in the past and the issue is that it has to fit perfectly tight but not too tight. It was always hard to get that fit correct because the tolerances will vary depending on the printer and material.

What size locline does it attach to? 1/2"? I think I have some laying around.

I would probably redo the entire cover so it looks clean. Can you post some pictures of what you have now?

Would it be possible for you to creat a bracket to hang the noopsyche k7 pro 2 light? The “official” bracket has been sold out for months it seems.
