Any and all dartfish species, but especially the scissortail dart, Ptereleotris evides. They have been incredibly hard to find lately, otherwise I'd have a whole school of them in my display!

There's just something special about their elegant coloration that makes them really stand out amongst the dartfish.
Those are neat! You don't see those often.

Elongate dottyback is an underrated beauty for a smaller tank. Very very peaceful for a dottyback. I actually kept mine in a tank with an electric indigo dottyback at one point and they didn’t even fight eachother. Ended up adding it to my larger system because I loved the look so much. Beautiful orange and red, with yellow rimmed tail. Hard to find pictures that do it any justice online:

Those are nice fish to have!

I am surprise that nobody put Mandarin as their favorite. Definitely it is my most favorite small fish. I cannot have a tank without one.

I WANT ONE SO BAD!! I have a very healthy pod population too! But I want one that is at least 1.5" long because anything smaller may get in trouble in my tank. They are simply BEAUTIFUL!!

That’s a cruel question, asking me to choose which of my little guys is my favorite. (It’s the YWG) I can’t believe I’d be asked to choose favorites (she’s super personable and just overall fantastic) a good mother never chooses a favorite( seriously she’s just the best little pouty face.)

Our watchman is one of our favorites! He has taken a liking to building a huge sand mountain around the entrance to his hiding spot so nothing can bother him, haha.

For a pico tank I love the Green Banded Goby. Had one in my 4g for 4 years. I figure that was about the max longevity.

Would love to have a fork tail Blenny but I’m afraid it will fight with my Bicolor Blenny that I currently have.
Agreed! I love Green Banded Gobies.
