Where Does That Fluorescent Glow Come From?

Just wondering. So many tank photos show corals having an almost fluorescent glow. What lighting factor or factors account for this look?

This nifty little chart shows you the light wavelengths ('colors' or 'hues') from the light source that excite coral fluorescent pigments and the light wavelengths that are then emitted from the coral:
