I'm ready to purchase an LED fixture for my 48" 55 gallon tank (its going to be a reef tank) The fixture I'm planning on buying comes either 36/48 or 48/60 in length. Which one would be best? The tank is also going to have an 48" 2 bulb T5 fixture. Thanks

36/48 means its got legs that extend out to 48. the light doesn't shine further than it would as a 36. I would do the 48/60. but what light fixture are you going with?

yeah don't use that one lol. not worth the money. very low par. lots of bells nd whistles but bells and whistles don't grow coral. I suggest getting with a member of this forum named @SB Reef Lights and see what hes got to offer.
