You might not be happy with the way you mounted the power strip. The brackets may rust, zip ties can break. I would use the mounting holes on the back

That center support is probably removable to put in the sump. If there are screws visible, I'd give it a try.

Thanks! Next week i am taking the tank off to drill my holes through the stand to run the plumbing. Will also remove the rear brace temporarily to get the sump in.

I agree that any metal that you put inside the cabinet will rust.....I would suggest you rethink the way you have your power strip mounted.

Question... so this weekend i should be starting to setup the equipment and removing the rear middle brace of the stand to get the sump in. I went to check for screws or a way to detach the brace and all i can find are these staple looking indents attaching the brace to stand. Any ideas how to remove this support brace?
