*This is not my tank* He asked me to start a thread for his new SPS system so here it goes.

A few weeks ago he was going to transfer all of his SPS colonies (5-7 yrs old) to his new system, but before that happened, some stupid coward decided to drop a large amount of Clorox on the tank. He lost every single coral, nothing survived.

Pics of a few of his corals before the disaster:

Pic after the disaster  Steve Elias Stag

his is the new system.

Wow, thats so disgusting. Thats the kind of thing that would probably make me give up. Glad he's sticking with it, the new tank looks like it is off to a good start.

Tank looks great! What is your bulb combo? How tall is your tank and how high is the light above tank?
Also, can you share your photoperiod? Thanks!

Update: Went to shoot some fish (dinner) and freedive the other day with him, ended up taking some pics and video of his tank. Weird feeling to see my corals in his tank, at least they are in great hands.

Very sad to see what they did to the older tank. The new one is looking great. Are those ricordeas from PR? I'm thinking of ordering some soon but never had a chance to see the colors of rics from there. I lived in Fajardo for most of my life and loved snorkeling on the weekends. That lion fish is massive. Good catch!
