My tank has been cycling for 2 1/2 weeks. Ammonia dropped back to 0, Nitrite at 0.25 and nitrates are at 10.

I have a refugium with a piece of live rock and a ball of chaeto, and now it appears I have an algae bloom, both green and brown in there, I am perfectly happy with this happening in the sump an not the DT, but is this normal or common.

WOW! LOL! I have never seen this either. Your main is so clean have you touched it?

It's normal in a new tank.. that's exactly where you want your algae to grow.
