I'm hoping to get some suggestions for reef lights that do not use the Mobius app. I've been running Radions for almost 5 years. Things were fine until a wifi change. I then had to use the Mobus app instead on the eco tech manager. My lights come on at all different times of the day unless I manually set the time in Mobius every morning. I've been doing this for a year, but it won't work if I'm out of town. Support says to upgrade to the G6 radions, but I'm not willing to spend $3k if they run on Mobius. Any suggestions?

meridians. Highly recommend looking into them. What are the tank dimensions I can help spec what you would need

Cool feature is you can swap lenses to go wider or more focused. And the whole product line is modular - you can get individual panels and scale up, or get larger fixtures as a single unit. They also have bars that attach. And can all be powered by a single power cord. They got rid of the red and green channels nobody uses, and added more blue, uv, and whites.

Here’s some pics if it’s new to you

It's a 180. 24" x 60" x 24

Thanks!
60 long by 24 wide by 24 deep?

If yes, you could light that entire tank with a Meridian 45, which is ideal for a 60”
Reef. Only $1300 also

The money you save you could optional add on the matching edge bars for supplemental and still have a ton leftover

There was a major update in November that I have been told fixed the clock issues and the multiple people close to me running Radions have all confirmed they have had zero clock issues since then.

Might be worth a full blown factory reset on everything to see if it helps at all.

After that, I would get the Nicrew Gen 2 lights. Cheaper and better than anything else recommended and depending on how your current lights are mounted, the Nicrew will use all the existing mounting with no issues.

No Mobius, no Wifi, no stupid apps. Manual, local control that just works. It will be less than $1000 for a great setup

Thanks, I'll look into these too. I've never heard of them and I like the look of it.
It’s a top of the line fixture/brand. The whole unit is silent, it’s chassis is a heat sync, there are fans that come on to prevent overheating but it’s more of a backup. Day to day they typically wouldn’t need to come on. The fans are also built with water resistance and to be silent. The whole unit is also splash proof, and the system is modular also. Reefbreeders makes par monsters. 1000 + at the surface is common. I have the prior version, and can grow acros to lps, and never need to bring my channels over 40% which prolongs the life of the unit and the leds. Definitly worth looking into, this is the newest model from them and just came out Dec/January
