Breaking Down Tank

I had a power outage the other day that lasted several days and wiped out my tank. I am breaking down the tank for now and will set it up again probably next year or until i get a generator. It sucks but i need some advice with my live rock. I have the live rock drying out in the sun at the moment. I am curious if i need to clean the live rock with something now so at a later date i can reuse it? If not what should i do with it?

I to always worry the power will go out, i to dont have a generator.

Also for the liverock i would let it soak it hot water with vinegar and then rinse it with saltwater then let it sit in the sun for a few days to dry.
