C.I.T.E.S tag question

I am curious if there is any information that can be found on a cites tag. It's the clear tag that comes on some corals. This is the first piece that I have acquired with one of these tags so I want to see if there is anything I can find out with it. Any info on the subject is greatly appreciated.

Are you sure it's a CITES tag and not just an inventory tag? I've seen lots of maricultured colonies, with tags on them, but don't believe they are CITES related.

I am only assuming its a cites tag because it says cites on it. I will post a picture soon. It's small but I will try my best.

On all the shipments I've imported I've never seen a cities tag. I don't know maybe its a new thing.

I've seen tags like that on lots of maricultured corals...but I'm not sure what they are. I always assumed they had to do with permiting in some fashion, but that's about all I know, LOL!

I see them all the time I believe an inventory tag it's shows species and the date it was put in the ocean for grow out
