According to the timing on the thread and the last posts, it took less than one hour to take the first picture of the skimmer box till getting it wet and bubbly.
Nice upgrade!

ClariSea is up and running too!

I have a bit more tinkering and moving this thing around to do, but I am honestly impressed with it.

Another great addition.
I am sure this one took you more than an hour to set up and running.

How do you feed water to this Gen2 thing?

haha it took about an hour just to unpack the thing and remove all the plastic from the acrylic, maybe 3 for complete install. It feeds directly from my overflow into the inlet pipe on the side. I had to do some minor tweeks to my plumbing to make it work, and still have a little more work to do to finish it off, but it works great and my water is super clear.

No real updates, the tank has been on its own for a bit. My Canary Blenny made it into my DT, but my wrasse had serious issues in my DT so he is back in QT to (hopefully) recover.

The yellow flanked wrasse unfortunately did not make it. He stopped eating after being attacked and never really recovered.

I picked up some new additions, a firefish and a pink fairy wrasse that are in QT right now. Praying I have more luck this time around, and I picked up an acclimation box.

Its been a long time since I had a proper update... things have been crazy and not much has changed after I installed the Clarisea sk-3000. I also added a rosy fairy wrasse, as well as a mandarin. The tank has been stable, and growth is starting to take off, and I am having to increase my alk dosage on an almost daily basis. My next upgrade for the tank is to install an auto water change system with a Neptune Dos that I ordered off of BRS.

Heres an updated FTS:

Here is what was going to be my entry for photo of the month, but I never got around to editing and submitting it...

And here are some random corals that I received today from @Battlecorals , and I was honestly surprised by the quality from Adam.... I will definitely be back to order more from him.

Had some fun with top down photos while doing some maintenance. Sorry not sorry about the photo overload.

Here’s the tanks newest resident, Brian:

The purple/green was fragged off a wild Colony from Palau a few months after making it to the US and was the first frag off the colony. Right now this guy looks better than the mother colony.

My first acro in the tank... supposedly an ORA but I can’t place it.
