Still alittle slow I herd back from another company today he was supposed to send me a qoute for the last few pieces. I'm getting ready to break down my 2 tanks to remodel the room either next week or weekend. Have to move everything into a 400 gallon tote as a temporay home for everything. That should take me a week or so as long as there's not issues fingers crossed. So hopefully during the remodel I'll be building the tank also.

I am slow as well :p out of town atm sorry :(
That's alright like I said if it can save me a few bucks for some better gear I'll wait the week or two. That other company that I told you was the cheapest it trying to sell me a line. There saying they cut there acrylic with a cnc but need to polish the edges which obviously cost more a cnc edge as long as your bit isn't dull is ok from what I've been told.

Moving forward a bit. Temporary holding for the fishies all set up. I'm hoping to break the tanks down this weekend. I think I'm gonna have to much rock which I thought was never possible. All the rock in the picture is just what was curing in the 90 gallon.

Following along on this amazing thread! I can't wait to see what this turns out looking like. I'm interested in doing a custom tank when I get home, so I'm definitely interested in learning from your issues. This is going to be insane!

Great idea to dry fit! When doing a complicated glue up in my wood shop I often mock it up and take it apart a few times to get totally comfortable before the real thing.

You said it!

Something that complex I would want to be able to get it together with my eyes closed and under a certain amount of time.

Yea I'm using weld on 40 and it has around a 20 min working time so it should be interesting. Im planning on gluing the 2 sides first then gluing then down to the bottoms the meeting them in the middle. But I was looking earier and have another issue. The first time I ordered the pieces they managed to mess up a third piece that I didn't pick up on. The right rear panel. I just need to route off an inch from the step and it will be ok. Hopefully get that this weekend and maybe glue a side up.
